Blackpool went out at the first hurdle of the FA Youth Cup despite a resilient performance against Crewe Alexandra.

First-team player Bright Osayi-Samuel put the Seasiders ahead, but Oli Finney bought Crewe level.

Macauley Wilson looked to create his heroics from the weekend with a free-kick, but a great save from Kieran Harrison meant the game would go in to extra time.

A hat-trick from Charlie Kirk in extra time made for a seemingly convincing win for Crewe.
